Wobbly Music is an independent music production, recording, and internet marketing company dedicated to the advancement of mature independent musicians.

Jacqueline M. Yohe

Is one of our newest artists and her first single was released on the Wobbly Music Label last July. It is called "The Valleys of my Mother's Mind" and is an extremely powerful song about her Mother's fight against Alzheimers. Our production begins with a powerful rock sound and slowly diminishes into an acoustic/orchestral sound, depicting her mother's growing weakness against the disease.

A great deal of the credit for the emotion of this song must go to John McKeon, who I employed to write the music. He has done an excellent job, as I'm sure you will agree. To purchase this single go to our Record Store

John McKeon

Our first signing, is an artist with a talent that has the style and flair of great stars such as Phil Collins or Robert Palmer. John's voice, vocal harmonies and guitar playing have a feel that is relaxing, yet can encompass many genres of music. His sound has a unique warmth that is great to listen to at any time, but particularly if you need to unwind after a hard day's work. John's songs are filled with catchy melodies, captivating rhythms, and lyrics about everyday situations and feelings of friendship, love and spirituality, that are easy to relate to.

John spent almost 5 years working with Lynn at Wobbly Music on his debut album "Friends". The album was finally finished in March 2005 and was released on the Wobbly Music Label on 1st May 2006. The first 100 copies sold was a "Limited Edition" version that contains two mystery bonus tracks of popular songs recorded in John's own unique style. The album is also available as a download directly from our new record store. The first 100 copies of the download version includes a complete set of ringtones suitable for most modern mobile phones. Seperate tracks from the album are also available as single downloads.

The double-A-sided single, "Take a Little Time" C/W "Why aren't you talking to me?" was origianlly released at the end of January 2005, but was re-released to coincide with"Friendship Week", w/c 15th May 2006. The album versions of these two songs are extended mixes.

John's follow-up album is currently in production for later release.

The Ivan T Dixon Band

A hard-hitting Blues/Rock band based in Lancashire, UK, fronted by veteran blues vocalist Ivan T Dixon. Ivan has had his own band since the early 60's when he was a regular on the Merseabeat circuit, gigging alongside the likes of the Beatles in venues such as the famous Cavern Club in Liverpool. Having had minor success with a release on the Auriole label in 1962 with his band "The Ivan D Juniors" he turned his sights to singing the blues and never looked back.

Sadly, due to health reasons, Ivan has now retired from regular Live performances. The band are now concentrating on individual projects, but will get together from time to time to record. Their first EP will be re-released at a future date and a second EP is currently being mixed. Both will be on sale from our new record store in due course.

Tony Dominguez

The first non-performing songwriter to be signed by Wobbly Music is based in Texas, USA. Tony's songs draw on influences from 60's and 70's melodic rock, but with lyrics that are far deeper, focussing on the emotions and anxieties of the mind.

Tony's newest set of songs, produced by Wobbly Music last year, have just been acquired by a publishing company specialising in music placement for Film, TV & Advertising. The the songs can still be purchased from our Record Store, or from Tony's site.

Viviane

A very unusual female vocalist/songwriter based in Belgium. A musical poet and a poetical philosopher, Viviane is currently working with us to turn some of her latest poems into songs.

The first project to be completed, was set of songs about healing. These songs are now available on a CD directly from Viviane.

Viviane is currently singing her songs live in the streets of her home town in Belgium. She also has books of her poems for sale. During this promotion she has expressed a wish to market and sell her music exclusively from her new website which is currently under construction. Meanwhile, if you have any queries regarding her music, please email her directly.

Wobbly Music is currently helping Viviane with the arrangements of a new set of songs.

Paul R. Brook

One of our latest FREE Production signings is a talented young songwriter and pianist, who has a "mature" style of his own. We hope to be able to find a new sound, fitting to his talents, in our production of one of his latest songs. This will be our next single release, scheduled for the coming months.

Joe Lefebre

Our most recent FREE Production signing is a poet with an ability to turn everyday life into a poem. He has already sent me a number of poems that he would like to hear put to music. We have decided to produce a quirky poem about a child's first day at school, as Joe's first single on the Wobbly Music Label.

I will need a talented artist under 8 years of age to bring this poem to life. If you know someone who may fit the bill, please contact me.

ICE

A husband and wife duo based in Lancashire are the founders of an original Adult Contemporary act called ICE. I joined them on Drums last year, and will be producing their forthcoming debut album. Jane (Lead Vocal) and Paul (Rhythm Guitar), write all their own songs and have recently had good exposure in the local press and on radio. In May of this year they managed to get through to the regional final of "Britain has Talent" and played to a full house at the Apollo theatre in Manchester, UK.
